how to count the time for fileupload??

How do i count the time taken for fileupload in my program?
can anyone give me some ideas?
the time can be counted in milliseconds or seconds.
can i use
thread
logic for this can anyone help.
The fileupload program i wrote is a plain old
java
program.

Hi there,
You can simply use the System API get get current time in milliseconds at the start and end of your upload.
