I started learning Ruby 2 years back, and there were only online tutorials to guide me. But having a good knowledge about OO concepts made it so easy. So, thank you for the book. Manning books have been very helpful so far.

I am new (2 day old) to ruby , object oriented concept here too - good , java users can make most out of it as it uses JVM , looking forward for more .

Manning books are very easy to understand and contains good number of code snippets which helps in understanding the subject better.
