Holy cow, somebody involved in this has some major Asperger's issues. Just the suggestion that people might want to display an emoticon on their face to indicate their mood... Hello? People already have a mechanism for displaying their mood: it's called A FACE!

To be fair, this would be a bit easier to reconfigure in some ways.

But yeah, of the various possible things one could display on somethign like this, an emoticon seems pretty lame.

In another forum there was a discussion about tattooing the noggin.

This just freaks me out!



The one place I will never, ever get tattoed is on the face or head!

Peter F. Hamilton talks in his latest books about a form of tatoos that are electronic implants allowing direct interfacing with computerised systems everywhere (including other people), often wireless.

Scary idea, especially if someone manages to write a virus to remotely control other peoples' implants...
