  • Is their really anything we should need to understand under the above two topics? It seems these two topics are in very basic-level, and there are nothing to understand under that. Isn't it?

    It may be helpful to read JPA spec 6.1, 6.2.

    Questions like "the WEB-INF directory of a WAR file may be the root of a persistence unit ?" aren't that easy to answer otherwise (question is from myself).
