But it doesn't say how they died.

Now if they were all electrocuted the meat would have cooked too fast to be tender. The best I could do you is some jerky. I think slow elecrtocution maybe unethical but I haven't checked the Bulgarian laws.

Dr Karl says it is safe to stand under a tree as long as the tree is completely wet. In this case a lightning strike travels down the bark, possibly blowing the bark off, but not as harmful as the alternatives. If the trunk of the tree is dry, the energy travels down the middle, boiling the sap and trunk explodes. This is much worse.

But in a different article, Dr Karl says you can tenderise meat by blowing it up, based on experiments with steaks and dynamite. In this case the goat meat would not be cooked yet, but it would high quality eating.
