I am a java developer and i wish to develop a project(with GUI) like "expense manager" which can used in my mobile for my personal use.
I don't have an idea, where to start and how to write and run a small program in my mobile.
I know the mobile will recognise the .jar format. Please throw some light on it to write a simple java program and run it in mobile.

This is probably a good place to start

It's probably a good idea to post any follow up questions in this forum, as the moderators will move them there anyway.
