Variables values from one JSP page to another....  RSS feed

Hi All

I have created 2 jsp pages and im trying to pass values in variables from one page to another.

in microsoft visual studio.net those values can be passed in session variables...
whats the equivalent for passing values from one page to another in JSP?

Please help its very urgent for me to resolve this.

Hi Joseph,

You can use session variables in Java too. But I think that isn't a good practice.

I suggest you read the book: "Head First Servlets and JSP" from Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates, Bryan Basham.

Hi,

You can use query string to pass variables from one jsp to the other.


i would suggest you you to read Herbert Schildt Complete Reference to Java book.
