Hello,

I have prior experience on J2ME, Blackberry application development. Now, I am planning to explore the new territory of Andriod. Do you think my Java,J2ME skills help me in Grasping Application development skills in Android faster?

Could you let me know, how much is the development methodology of Andriod is similar/dissimilar to other mobile application(J2ME) development.

Thanks!!
By the way, mobile developers like us will surely love your book on this new technology.

The skill sets and knowledge is similar. I was originally J2me and Symbian and now I am creating a Home Screen Widget System for Android.

Go over lifecycle of Android App concepts first as its different than the midlet lifecycle you are use to..

You shouldbe fine..
