Hello everyone
I'm planning to learn Red Hat Linux. Recently I completed Java. Many of my friends say that java is meant for software development and red hat Linux is mainly used for networking purpose. I'm confused because I don't want myself to land up in two different field at the same time.
Thanks in advance for replying

Java is a programming language and platform.
Redhat is an operating system.

The two are different. Very different.
