Hi,

I am planning for a mobile interface for a J2EE application.
I know of anchor, go tags in WML to connect to some app. server but how do I simulate mobile to app. server communication during development.
I checked openwave simulator but I had the feeling that using that would cause a vendor locking at later stage. Not sure, though.
Providing J2ME application at mobile end would be great but considering the broader audience who can use plain WML in their mobiles, I chose WML option.

Looking for any simulators/emulators with
1) which I can display WMLs and make a connection to app. server
2) with no/minimum vendor-lockin.

Please guide me.

Regards,
Dinakar

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
