Mark,

Been reading a lot about how Android may be able to make its way to not just mobile phone-type devices, but also Netbooks and other portable electronic devices. From your experience in using Android, do you see this as a good possibility? What challenges do you see in trying to get Android out there on more than just phone devices?

Excitedly waiting for Sprint to start getting Android phones in their hardware lineup. Will definitely be picking one up and learning to tinker with it!

Android will find its way on many types of devices, both on a homebrew basis and from mainstream consumer electronics firms. Netbooks and "internet tablets" are certainly likely possibilities.

Taking advantage of the larger screen. Once you get past an N800-sized screen, users will expect to have tiled windows or other things that let them make use of more screen real estate. Android is designed for smaller screens and may require changes to take advantage of, say, 1024x600 on an Eee 901, where I happen to be typing this reply...
