Hi Mark,

One thing I am trying to find is a thorough coverage of the GUI capabilities of Android.
For example, creating a tiled background from a small background image in xml, or creating a bitmap from another bitmap ( there are some of examples of these in the Android API Demos). Or, other tips and tricks that are not commonly known but save a lot of time when you do need them.

Do either of your books cover such topics in more detail than other Android books in the market?

Cheers,
Sonny

No, there is very little coverage of those sorts of techniques in my books. Sorry!

Right. That kind of information is probably more suited to an online reference (or strictly an ebook) anyway, where it is easier to search. Thanks.
