This isn't usually that hard for me but for some reason I cannot find anywhere where I can download a copy of Java Micro Edition that can deploy onto other devices.

I am deveoping an app using RAD 7.0 which is currently running with Java6 on the app. I want to get a copy of JavaME so that I not only deploy that to the devices that will be using my App but also tie RAD 7.0 to that version of Java instead. Please help I've spent days looking and have come up short.

The reason that you've come up short is that JME is tied directly to the device hardware. So it has to come with the device. You shouldn't have to install it.

There is/was an exception. IBM's WebSphere Anyplace endeavor featured a stand-alone JME JVM. It was made available to Palm for a while and I installed one on my Windows Mobile phone. However that project seems to be in disarray these days, and in any event, it didn't have the close integration with the hardware that a device vendor's version would.
