How to configure c3p0 connection pool weblogic and use it with Hibernate .

Why do you want to use c3p0 in WebLogic? It has its own connection pool implementation, is it not just easier to use that?

I agree with Paul.
FYI : In application servers like JBoss, Weblogic, WebSphere have managed environment. They do have their own configuration file where you can setup how you want to communicate with database. IMO they should support all the facilities provided by c3p0. It is possible to configure c3p0 but not suggested.

because c3po is efficient third party connection pool mechanism .

As I mentioned earlier, this can be achieved using Weblogic configuration itself only. Did you try looking into that?

True, but its unlikely to be better for use with Weblogic than the one supplied by WebLogic. And of course, the one supplied by WebLogic will fall under Oracle support, if you need c3p0 support you will have to buy it. And how to configure it will be well documented in the Weblogic docs.
