Hi all
I have webSphere 6.0 and oracle 10g, I use webSphere connection pool with min pool size:4 and max poll size 5

I call the following method in init method of my init servlet of application:

When I shutdown and start the server from start menu, statements 0 to 4 successfully executed, statement 3 rolledback successfully and getting connection of statement 5 throws TimeoutException and in finally block statements 0, 1, 2, 4
commited successfully and values inserted to table. and it is that I expected.

But when I stop and start the application (not server) I see different behavior
statement 0 to 7 executed and statement 3 rolledback and finally all connection commited, but 4 to 7 values inserted to db and timeout exception not occured, and it seems that one connection in hole process is used and rolled back of 3th statement cause rollback of all previous statements

Can any one explain me the reason of this difference
thanks a lot
