Hi,

I am trying to deploy and EJB which tries to persist an entity using JPA . I am trying to connect to oracle DB.

I am getting the following the error,

ObjectName: persistence.units:jar=sampleEJB.jar,unitName=employeeDB
State: FAILED
Reason: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.HibernateException: Hibernate Dialect must be explicitly set
I Depend On:
jboss.jca:service=DataSourceBinding,name=OracleDS
Depends On Me:
jboss.j2ee:jar=sampleEJB.jar,name=SampleSessionBean,service=EJB3

I am posting my persistence.xml file for corrections if any,

<persistence>
<persistence-unit name="employeeDB">
<jta-data-source>java:/OracleDS</jta-data-source>
<property name="hibernate.dialect"
value="org.hibernate.dialect.OracleDialect" />
<property name="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" value="create-drop" />
</persistence-unit>
</persistence>

thanks,
Suresh B
