Hi All,

Every time I log into my application, I want the session to have a new session id. Currently if I close and open the browser, I'll get a new session id or else the session id will be the same even tough I am invalidating the session while logging out. Is there any solution for this? I'm using JBoss as my application server.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards
Shenaz

I am invalidating the session while logging out

How are you doing that? Please post the code. Are you invalidating the correct session?

Yes, I'm invalidating the correct session. I debugged and confirmed it.

What is the "context"?

Is it the servletcontext? And are you doing this in a context listener? Please post that entire piece of code.

Its a custom context. I checked the session after re login from the same browser. The session is invalidated and I'm getting the session attribute values as null.
