Hi All,
I've an enterprise application which uses Spring MDBs to listen to a Queue Destination and uses Hibernate ORM to persist into a DB. The app has been around for several years. However we are now getting a java.sql.SQLException connection is closed error after upgrading the Spring and Hibernate JARs. There are absoluteny no changes to the app code base. Could anybody suggest a possible reason.

Here are versions:

Hibernate : 3.3.1

hibernate.dialect=org.hibernate.dialect.Oracle9Dialect

Spring : 2.0.8

Weblogic : 8.1

JDBC : Oracle JDBC Driver version - 10.1.0.2.0

Thanks
Lisa

could you explain when do you get this exception? right at the first time or after several correct transactions?
