Eclipse JSF Tutorial - command button - quick edit

I'm following along with the JSF tutorial in the eclipse-jee-ganymede version.

Specifically, I'm here:
-- JavaServer Faces Tooling User Guide
-- JSF Basic Tutorial

Scroll down to the part where they add a h:commandButton to the JSP page.

The tutorial shows a screenshot of the "quick edit" properties for that h:commandButton where you can type the values and actions. When I click on "quick edit" it says there are no quick edit properties available for the current selection. I can type the values of for the JSF HTML component, but I was just curious why I'm not able to use the quick edit.

Yes, I had the button selected.

I got another co-worker to look at it and they saw the same behavior. for whatever reason, after a few minutes, the quick edit properties are now working. strange.
