How to develope a stand alone application...?

Hi

As Android is open source, in the future we may see many phones base on Android ,

1.with different screen size,
2.with different memory and RAM Capacity
3.with different Processing speed Etc...

So it is bit Tough to develop a stand alone application, so does your Book cover this concepts...i mean How to develope a stand alone application..?

What exactly do you mean by "stand alone"? If you mean a program which runs on any device, there are a few things to keep in mind - use standard APIs, don't make any "assumptions" about the device, and try to use the emulator to emulate the various conditions.
