do we have any methods to used c dll in java except jni

i want to know any method which helps to integrate java with pure c dll or shared object with out implementing JNI

Check out JNA. You will still need to translate the DLL to one or more Java classes, but the bridge between Java and C is now written in Java, not C.

Some other libraries are mentioned in http://faq.javaranch.com/java/JavaIntermediateFaq#callingCom, but they use JNI underneath. Why do you want to avoid it?
