Hi All,
Whenever you say,
int[] intArray = new int[5]; // Create simple integer array

The JVM create intArray object on heap, if this the case then the object intArray belongs to which class?

Welcome to JavaRanch

Try:
System.out.printf("An int[] arises from class %s%n", new int[].getClass().getName());

Thanks Campbell for your quick reply,

I have tried that & I got 'An int[] arises from class [I' as ouput.

Not able determine exactly, to which class does array belong.

Hello,
[I means - (I) stands for int, ([) - for array, so [I - array of ints.
For more information please refer to the following link:

Hope it helps.

Just int[].class works just fine.
