I am new to rmi...i am writing a code in which when the submit button is pressed the data needs to be stored in the database for which i used void action performed. The client calls a function go() which i used in the interface and class implementation also but what about void action performed where the data is actually stored in db....how can i make the client call action performed() ? please help.

Where is rmi used here and what sort of events are you talking about?
