Hello i am going through the JasperReports API .

But i could not understand .Can anybody please tell me





Here on to the first line compilation of the .jrxml file has been done .

But i could not understand using new HashMap(), new JREmptyDataSource()

what does those two parameters represent ??

Please help

Hi there,

Have you read the Javadoc for that method? At a guess the EmptyDatasource parameter is basically saying that you are using no datasource to fill out the report.
