I believe, its about application log. Like logging errors, info, debug messages etc..

you certainly will not fail because it's not a must requirement. but maybe you could loose some points in "general considerations"

it's just a thought, i'm not sure about that one.

i'm doubting myself to add logging to my assignment, for the moment i have no logging.

to be honest, I don't want to do it.. I would do it only if it is a requirement... but it's not..

if i use logging i'm gonna write a wrapper around the java.util.logging classes so it could be easily changed (in the future) by another logging mechanism like log4j or sl4j
