What is the big deal, Microsoft does not have the domain name for ie6? Think someone wasted 8 bucks and a few bucks to host the page. LOL

I thought the url itself is amusing, it seemed to me at least.
But then people have their own opinions..

I should have place a smilie, my bad!

My point was that providing an opinion makes it the start of a conversation rather than just... links.

It is funny all right.
Let us see if it can end up as the top result in a google search for IE7. Somebody digg it!

in this ie7 case I think I'd side with Microsoft. It is not a professional move by whoever set it up.

In the case of law suites however, it may be better to let this one go, at least for now. If they sue for the domain name, they may be contested for this one and a loss in court could set a precedent against them in future cases. It's a bit like what SCO tried to do with Linux: first pick on the people that will roll over, establish a precedent, then go after the bigger fish.
