problem with Serialize an arraylist

hi everyone,i want to serialize an array list,but when i try to write an object to the file "clients.ser" an IOException comes out.
Here is the code:




"Asthenis" is the name of the class
Ps:i have successfully managed to write and preview data to the arraylist "l".

If you show us the complete stack trace of the exception, perhaps we could tell you what it meant. As it stands, I don't see anything terribly wrong here.

Problem solved.It was quite stupid,i forgot to mention that the class "Asthenis" implements Serializable...
