EJb 2.1: stateless ejbs and TimedObject

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,
I am woundering about job scheduling using EE spec services, and I have the following question.

Suppose I use a stateless session bean, making it implement the TimedObject interface: now the container will call the ejbTimeout method, as specified in the TimerService constructor.

As we know, the container can create more than 1 instance of a stateless ejb, depending on load.

How does this relate to the ejbTimeout call?

Will this call be made to all the instances created ? Or just one?

Thanks in advice.
