I''m starting up mobile development and now I'm building sample applications for my customers. Now I'm deciding to buy a phone with windows mobile. For me buying a phone is rather expensive, because it should be an industrial model which supports GPRS, UMTS, WIFI, bluetooth, etc. but I want to show my customers something and also to learn from it and that's only possible by doing.

Why should I choose for Android and which industrial phones support Android? What is the current marketshare?

Checking internet has learnt me that there are only a couple of phones running with Android. So I will continue developing on Windows Mobile. I hope that there will be more phones available in the future, but I can't wait for that.

I really don't know why they are saying that we wanted to still wait for the phones to come, why not study everything on android and when those phone comes, they will just plug everything on it with maybe minor additions. If you're interested on Android, be interested even the market is still light on it, cause i have seen such big improvements unlike the iPhone at first being used by the people im not ranting about them, iPhone is still ahead from Android but soon enough it they will be equal and much more Android will surpass iPhones

Try to think about the future !
