I used to have an HTML link in my signature. Then, when I went to update it, I noticed that all of my posts now show the actual HTML in the signature. It looks like it converted all the < and > signs to >. and <. Any thoughts?

OK, that worked, thanks!

The HTML signature used to work, so this must have changed.

I was desprately trying to fix <a href= in my signature.

I have HTML anchor tags in my signature, and it seems to work fine for me. I think if you have the following attribute...

rel="nofollow"

in the anchor, it is allowed.

Hi Henry !

Thanks for your comment.

I do had rel="nofollow" in my anchor tags. But it did not help. I tried to delete that attribute - same result.

Also, I noticed that anchor tag became valid if I modify anything on the fly with Firebug, kind of confusing for me 8-)

You can try on your own risk ;) edit profile signature and save it and look at your posts if the anchor survived. Mine links (they migrated from UBB forum) were working OK, until I edited the profile.

regards,
MZ

Hmmm... Maybe it is because I haven't modified my signature in a while. I guess I can move over to UBB too. (I have to do it eventually right?)

Confirmed.... My signature stopped working when I just saved my profile. So, HTML works in the signature if you had it setup before it was disabled. Anyway, I am now also using UBB in the sig.
