+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I understand that there is no Cert preparation book for JWS 1.5

I am new to Web Service, there are so many books for Web Service and its difficult to choose a book,
I request to ranchers to suggest a book for JWS 1.5.

Thanks
DJ.

This reply may be useful In case you meant SCDJWS 1.5, not SCWCD 1.5

That book is also called (short name) RMH. And you will find that lot of people are using same for certification.

That book is for Java Web Service 1.4,

Assume this book with three parts
Part I - XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI (Ch 1 - ch 8, It is still relevant to JWS 1.5)
Part II - JAX-RPC (Ch 9 - Ch 15, Replaced with JAX-WS (it is not in this book) )
Part III - JAXB, JAXP,JAXR,SAAJ (Ch 16 - ch 21, still relevant to JWS 1.5)
There are links in the forum for Ivan Krizsan & MZ's notes, which would be very helpful.

You can start reading Ch1 to ch8, and meanwhile findout other book for JAX-WS.
I am thinking to use 'SOA Using Java Web Services' by Mark D. Hansen

Good Luck.
