i was trying to run the "jarsigner " command through java code by using Runtime.exec() method on linux but i am getting the following exception

java.io.IOException: "/home/user/Java/java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0_update17/bin/jarsigner": not found

i am getting the above exception even though i am having the jarsigner tool in the above specified location. The environment variables are set correctly...

i am able to run the same command through command prompt of linux but was unable to run it through java code..

please give some suggestions

Thanks in advance
