ejb3 mdb dependency injection

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I have 2 servers which exchange jms message via mdb's. My question is there a way to configure each mdb to
listen to a queue on the other server using DI? I'm talking about something to replace the <destination-jndi-name>
AND the <provider-url> in the server-specific jar file. My target environment is weblogic.

I'm looking at something like:

Thanks,

John

The next question is if the above is possible, is the implementation vender specific, or it pretty much standardized?

John,

You need to configure the JMS resource (not in code). Should be as simple as configuring the queue on the application server for en external provider and referring to the queue via standard DI.

Hope it helps,
Reza
