New to this Forum - SCJA certification

hi all,

i am new to this forum.....just 2 days back when i was searching for scja certification in net i came to know about this forum.....
hope this forum will be helpful for me to succeed in spja certification exam....... can anyone tell me how many days it would take for preparing for this exam? i am completely new to java and programming as well...... can anyone tell me which books i have to follow to pass in this exam ? most of them were telling to follow cameron's books but i am from india(hyderabad)...so i cannot get them here.....
at present i am reading Head First Java,2nd Edition....... started from today itself......

and regarding that uml pdf i am unable to get that pdf from hfoobook..... that link is not working now.....can anyone please mail me that pdf to gottumukkalasubha@gmail.com......please............
