I've just started using Javamail Api and i have difficulty with authenticator.I want to connect to yahoomail thru Javamail Api, but i keep getting javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: failed to connect. What should i put as username and password and what methods should I override in MyAuthenticator class?

You need to put in the username and password of your Yahoo account. I think only Yahoo Premium accounts are accessible via POP3, though.

The JEE FAQ points to an extensive JavaMail tutorial that has a code example for authentication.

Thank you very much.It seems that Yahoo doesn't let us use POP3 for free.Instead I've put the smpt host of the domain for wich I'm building this site and it works just fine without spending money and using authenticator
