Error in using generics in code tags  RSS feed

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but there has been a bug in the forum software I noticed several times recently. When you have nested generic types in posted java code then the angle-brackets get screwed up.

Example:


That will appear like Map<String, List><Object>> thing, when it should be Map<String, List<Object>>. It looks like the forum is trying to auto-close angled brackets before opening a new pair (which makes sense when the angle-brackets represent HTML code).

A work around would be to change the opening inner-angle-bracket to the escaped less-than sign (&lt;):
