[fred]: The hoax theory of the Apollo moon missions has been around since, well, the moon missions.
And if it really were a hoax, then the moon missions must have never occurred, which means the hoax theory also never occurred. But we know from direct observation that the hoax theory does exist, therefore the moon missions were real. Q.E.D.
Another major reason to disqualify the conspiracy theories is Occam's Razor. It's far easier (and likely cheaper too) to go to the moon than it is to get hundreds of thousands of people to take an active part in a faked moon mission and not spill their beans for 40 years afterwards.
You are not connected to anything at all. The illusion is propagated by a stealthy sub-processor component that effectively simulates interactivity. The general architecture is very clever A.I. dynalgorithm functioning on top of a chaos driver. Basically, this anticipates everything anyone will ever "send" and formulates the appropriate "response." Because the seed for the chaos driver was permanently locked down in 1963 (and the model buffers up to 11 days in advance), a fairly consistent Pattern Of Interaction (POI) is maintained across the "virtual" network.
As conclusive evidence, consider this post, which was anticipated locally in complete isolation (stemming from the universal seed), and simultaneously generated on every user's machine. If you are reading this now, you can't deny it's true!

I can actually believe that. Since Al Gore invented it and I don't believe in Al Gore, it stands to reason the internet was never invented and therefore does not in fact exist.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that at some time, some where, some place, someone once said to themselves "I'd really like to set those people on fire over there, but I just can't get close enough".
All this moon business is a hoax, how can any sane person believe that Apollo rockets which are so huge can land on Moon which is so small...?
Even the name suggests otherwise... the mission Apollo meant they wanted to take it to the sun but unfortunately when they were giving the press release the sun set and the media relation officers from NASA saw the moon in the sky and at the last moment made the switch about astronauts landing on the Moon, the hoax was supposed to be about Sun all along....
