Right now I have this jsr173_api.jar for jdk1.5 but i need specific for jdk 1.4, I tried googling but couldnt get that , if any body has that jar available or link for download please try to forward it to me ,I appreciate that..

I've seen jsr173 being a part of jaxb
May be [just may be] the jaxb set for jdk 1.4 could be the one you are looking for.

I totally understand...

What I meant was JAXB API set is not just limited to one jar file. If you download JAXB, you'll be presented with a number of jar files like jaxb-api.jar, jaxb-impl.jar, jsr173.jar etc. I was just mentioning that jsr173.jar is one among them.... so if you download JAXB for jdk1.4, you could lay your hands on a jsr173.jar for 1.4
