How to display New Page using ajax

on any action I want directly call any jsp or html..(through AJAX) or servlet.. and that response should be in the new page or same page fully .
so what should I write in responsehtml to display response as a new page

You can directly call new Jsp or html in action,
why you want to call it from Ajax?

yes I know I can call directly in Action.

but suppose I want to display page on onclick or onchange event.. is this possible ? how ?
