Please tell me the design issue for controlling Transactions , what is the pros and cons for each ??regarding controlling Transactions from a Client and from a Bean Component

Controlling from the client From My servlet which acts as a client EJB Bean :

// Assuming there is a Hello EJB interface with a method callMethod();

and the below is directly controlling Transactions from the Bean itself

Please tell me what will be the good pratice and why .
