Hi All,

I have a simple authentication system. one user JSP login page whose user name and pass is stored ina property file.
Now the problem is I want to allow the user to change its password.
so for that am fully confused how to achieve this.

I'm not able to get how to check user has old password with right username and how to get the new password and store it back into the properties file.

please shed some light.

Not something that should be done in a JSP. Explore using a servlet for this task.
