Hi,

We have deployed 2 different applications on WAS 6 server {App1 and App2}. Both have log4j implementation in it. both have different log files mentioned in their properties file. But the logs are getting generated for both applications in log file specified by App1.

I am not able to find out the reason. Please proivde some pointers.

Thanks,
Neeraj.

Could they both have the same directory in their classpath for the property file saying which file to use for logging?

Both applications have log4j.properties inside their web-inf/classes folder.

Thanks,
Neeraj.

They gave me pumpkin ice cream. It was not pumpkin pie ice cream. Wiping my tongue on this tiny ad:
