Hi all,

I have a problem walking through my richfaces tree.
I want to show an expanded tree. The tree should be expanded based on an GET attribute (sector_cd), I have now created a button for testing the nodeExpand(). The tree is build up using data from a webservice. Showing the tree on the screen goes well, but automaticly expand a node and it's parents based on on a rowKeyPatch doesn't.

I have a SBCTreeBean with an UITree tree with getters and setters(see code below). in my sbc_sectoren.xhtml page I have the following code

I expected that if I bind this tree to my "SBCTreeBean.tree" I have to same instance of the tree in my code and I can walk through my tree, is that correct?
When I do a check to see if tree != null than I see that the tree variable != null. But when I do a childCount() I get 0 as result. Although I have a bunch of nodes with children.

My question is, how can I retrieve the tree I'm seeing on the screen in my bean?? I now always get an empty UITree object in my SBCTreeBean...

I'm using Seam 1.2.1 with richfaces 3.1.6 on oracle AS

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
