Hi,
This happened a couple of times...

When I was not signed in and I clicked 'post reply' the reply page opened with the text area... fine.
And when I typed the reply and clicked submit, it opened up the login page... fine with that.
But after the login page, I was routed somewhere and my reply was not posted !!!
And having to retype frustrates
Please look into this...

I came across the same problem a couple of times. After the reply the page won't show the new post and the number of reply just keep on incrementing. What's up with that?

Vishwanath -

It seems that the best solution would be to stop people getting to the screen where they type their message if they are not signed in. Unfortunately I don't think it is practical for us to keep track of a post while the author signs in (or even worse, goes through the registration process). I've added an item to our internal wish list to look at this.

Regards, Andrew

I think you are describing a different problem (possibly this one). We are trying to solve these issues.

I tried to post a reply some time back without signing in. But, contrary to what is mentioned in the above posts, i was correctly routed to the login page when I clicked on "post reply" and then after logging in, I was again properly routed to the reply page.

Seemed to work fine for me.
