Different people have different new year resolutions, but I am sure a lot of programmers like us may have a new year resolution to learn a new language/database/technology. I thought of learning C# and also a database, I thought of learning MS SQL Server but my current job demands me to learn Python and MySQL. So right now I am learning Python, I will soon learn MySQL and PHP.

So what are you up to?

C actually. Im going to work on c-projects for the rest of the year, so I
need to brush up on my pointer skills..

Im also going to take the SCJP/SCJD certifications - I'd like to stay in
contact with the Java language, so im ready for Java projects next year

Apart from C and Java I'll also look into design patterns/agile development..
