After six long and painful months I passed SCJP 6 and SCBCD 5, a great experience

The road to SCJP is obvious but I like to tell you how I did to burn all this informations in my brain by the day of the exam

I read carefully K&B, at the end of each chapter I print the two minutes drill, I reread the chapter and did the exersises and samples, I took notes which don't exist in the two minutes drill

I print the aditionnal notes and add them to the two minute drill and mark the all as chapter 1, every day before digging in the next chapter I read these notes then go to K&B and repeat the same procedure in chapter 2, print and add the new notes to the old ones, read the all then attack chapter 3 and so on...

For exam simulators, I took MasterExam, whizlabs and ExamLab, If you get over 70% in MasterExam and whizlabs, 55% in ExamLab, you can go to the real stuff and pass

As for SCBCD, I began by reading a few chapters from EJB 3 in action to get an idea, then the same as SCJP I prepared my own notes and loop over them (unfortunately as far as I prepared 3 or 4 pages of notes I printed and cleared so I don't have the electronic version to share it with you )

I covered JPA, Entity Manager Operations, Persistence Context and Persistence Unit, JPQL, Transaction Management from "Pro EJB 3 Java Persistence API"

As For Security, Exceptions, MDB, EJB 3 Overview, I began by reading Head First EJB 2 then EJB 3 in action (read means read and take notes )

I covered Enterprise Bean Knowledge and EJB 3.0 Session Bean Component Contract & Lifecycle objectives from EJB 3 in action

At the end of each objectives chapter I read MZ notes, Don't you ever miss this step

I used Whizlabs but I recommend Enthuware

Finally I would like to thank all the ranchers, especially Devaka Cooray, Mikalai Zaikin, Reza Rahman, Ruben Soto, Ralph Jaus, My friend Treimin Clark, and a great thanks to Kathy and Bert
