Oracle client 10g -- tnsping <service_name> segmentation fault

Hi friends,

I have installed oracle 10g client in linux environment. It got installed successfully.
but when i try to use tnsping <service_name>
it shows

TNS Ping Utility for Linux: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on 08-MAY-2009 16:03:29

Segmentation fault


Please suggest me a solution for this.
