1) Read Head First Servlets and JSP 2nd.Edition 2 times
2) [ reference to illegal souce deleted ] SCWCD exams
3) some tips on javaranch forum about SCWCD exam.

How should i prepare for them and from where can i get the questions for that.

Hi could you provide some information regarding IBM 486 exam i.e. study material, books to refer?



Here are a few tips I would recommend in order to pass the exam.
1. Practical knowledge of designing applications.
2. Proper understanding of UML notation. (Martin Fowler does a good in his book- UML Distilled)
3. Reading Applying UML and Patterns by Craig Larman (again a good book for design patterns)
Just reading the UML Distilled book is not enough as it does not cover the design aspects of the test.
I felt that the questions were equally divided among UML & OOAD aspects. I fell short on time.
Also giving the Pre-Assessment/Sample Test on the IBM site helped me.(Infact that was the only resource )
