Hi,

I am sure that @PostCreate and @PreDestroy callbacks are invoked in an unspecified transaction and security context, I was wondering if its the same case for @PrePassivate and @PostActivate ??

Normally @PostCreate and @PostActivate are used to annotate the same method, and the same is for @PreDestory and @PrePassivate. so I would say yes they are same, could anyone confirm it please.

Thanks.

Ok never mind I got the answer ... its as I supposed.

@PrePassivate @PostActivate run in an undefined transacation and security context.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
