The invincible Aussies. They have proved it by winning 3 world cups in succession. Winning seems to have become a habit for them. Kudos Austrailia.

Thats very much true... Great innings by Gilchrist (Gilli) . A special knock from him during the finals. Opening stand provided by Gilli and Hayden laid the platform for their victory.

Aussies once again proved their team effort .

The noteworthy thing was that that Gilli hadn't clicked in any of the matches throughout the world cup. But when he did, the opposition was decimated, thrown out of competition. My god, what an innings, treat for every cricket lover.

Long live Aussies.

Sid.

I think there is a flaw in your logic. According to the Wikipedia:

As of March 2007 the Australian team has won 320 of its 687 Test matches

I doubt they have tied the other 367, therefore they must have lost at least one.

Therefore, not invincible.

No other team can match a record even near that. And your comment seemed more like childish. No offense meant!!!

Notice his big Smilie at the end.

And if you want to use a word that means one thing and mean something else, definitely expect some jibbing.

now that McGrath has already retired and some expected to follow suit in next year , i dont think australia will be clinging on top for long.
Australians have always been known to flout rules, as in the Wc final where Gilchrist used a squash ball in his gloves to get beeter grip on SL bowlers.

DD: i dont think australia will be clinging on top for long
You can take McGrath, I'll raise you Lee, Clarke and Tait. And a few more waiting in the wings, Johnson included.

DD: Australians have always been known to flout rules

You are allowed to phrase this nicely, if you like.

Victory is always accompanied by arrogance. And why not, they have worked hard for it. And for your information, Gilchrist is morally the best player around. He walks away if he is out, and even if the umpire doesn't give him out.
